General Description of Duties: Directs, supervises, and coordinates the overall clinical  operations of the Urgent Care location.

Essential Functions: 

  • Actively supervises clinical support staff in a way that facilitates increased patient throughput.
  • Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for expense management, improved patient flow and other center processes. Sees through approval, implementation, and evaluation stages. 
  • Acts as a role model for clinical support staff in providing excellent customer service. Completes performance appraisals thoroughly and on time.

Ensures the appropriate level and mix of staff and effective staff utilization to meet staffing and workload requirements and support the delivery of quality patient care and  services, within budgetary guidelines. 
  • Works with Human Resources staff to recruit and hire staff; and coordinates comprehensive orientation of new staff and training with our Training Department. Establishes performance goals and provides counseling, coaching, feedback, recognition, training and development to staff. 
  • Manages quality improvement initiatives for areas of responsibility and ensures compliance with all mandated standards.
  • Identifies and executes on opportunities to convert eligible patients to Primary Care, Physical Therapy, Allergy Department and for all other Ancillary Services Collaborates with physician managers and providers to coordinate day-to-day patient care, ensure balanced provider panels within the health care team, and facilitate  appointment access for members.
  • Ensures telephone messages and patient requests are responded to using established and appropriate protocol and in an appropriate time frame. Works to improve customer service. 
  • At the direction of the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations, develop protocols and procedures relating to patient care.
  • Is knowledgeable regarding HIPAA, OSHA, and other governmental regulations and ensure implementation and that clinical staff follow appropriate procedures. Assists with developing and implementing the government quality and reporting programs.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be playing a vital role in supporting our team and  ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role encompasses a variety of administrative tasks  crucial to maintaining the efficiency and professionalism of our healthcare facility. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Recruiting: Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. 
  • Office Support: Perform general office duties such as scanning, faxing, copying documents, and maintaining records accurately and efficiently.
  • Guest Services: Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, directing them as necessary.
  • Communications: Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, providing timely and accurate information or directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
  •  Scheduling: Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and managing calendars for Executive Team members. 
  • Documentation and Filing: Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring they are easily accessible and up to date.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for smooth operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and team members to provide administrative support as needed.

Requirements: 

  • Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role and recruiting, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Organization Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in using office equipment (fax machines, scanners, copiers) and basic knowledge of office software (MS Office suite, email, etc.).
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. 
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

We are now hiring full-time Phlebotomists to join our Primary Care and Urgent Care teams. The phlebotomist is responsible for ensuring the safety of patients and integrity of specimens.  The phlebotomist adheres to stringent collection procedures, has a general working knowledge of  EMR/EHR systems, and has a minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience. 

The phlebotomist must maintain a clean and efficient work environment and ensure enough supplies are available as needed. This position is required to strictly adhere to all cGMPs, SOPs, and regulations. The phlebotomist maintains the confidentiality of all personnel, patients, and company information. The phlebotomist is required to be certified.
