Yes, it is 2018 & we understand with the phone, comes a lot of responsibility. However, a phone is a direct line to your child. In case of an emergency at school, you can always get in touch with your child. & they can also always reach you if they need something.

4. Teach them stranger danger

Yes, we all know “Don’t Talk to strangers” is one of the first things that we teach our kids while they are out on their own. However, stranger danger is much more than random people on the street these days. You should also warn your children about internet predators & the games they could play online.

5. Talk with your child every day

Communication is key when you have a child going through middle school & high school. Your child goes through a lot in those years so it is important that you make them feel important. Ask them about their day, listen to their problems. Nothing is more important than your child so make time for them no matter what.
